Utah Raw

What do you think of when imagining an Australian outback ranch? We think of wide cantilevered rooflines protecting sun-baked patios, prairie grassland and raw aged wood. This home took all of it’s inspiration from the outback since it’s site featured the best of Utah’s rustic prairies. Utah’s architectural vernacular runs deep in many directions - ski mountain homes and cabins, red rock desert homes, and prairie pioneer homes. All that’s missing is the bison herd. (And yes, that steel is meant to rust.)
