Downtown Salt Lake City

This downtown Salt Lake City duplex created twice the fun for our studio! With 1906 pioneer bones, we wanted to modernize the home, but keep traditional elements intact. One of our first projects as a team, we dug out the basement to double square footage, opening up areas for formal dining, a complete living room, a dedicated laundry room, extra bath and extra bedroom. Each unit went from 2 beds 1 bath, to 3 bed 2 bath. The common outdoor space linked both units for social connection between families. The project was ultimately featured in Utah Style and Design.
